dog days

These past few days were SO hot..."How hot was it??"...It was SO hot, I saw a dog chasing a cat and they were both walking. It was SO hot, for lunch we just pulled potatoes out of the garden and added butter, salt, and pepper. It was SO hot, birds were using pot holders to pull worms from the ground. (I stole those jokes). But for real, it was SO hot my crayons melted and I used them for finger paint.
