equines in action

The day before the Illinois Shelter-in-place order, Abby got a riding lesson in at J&S Farms near Monticello, Illinois.  She lives for these lessons and lives for the day she can own her own horse.  Someday.....!!!  At this lesson, she had a different instructor, who set up a new array of jumps.  The horse, Bill, is a horse that I often make fun of, for trotting around like he's bored out of his mind.  I swear sometimes I even see him roll his eyes when asked to trot.  But then you put a jump in front of him, and he turns into a crazed jumping lunatic.  It looks like fun though!

Rounding a sharp corner headed to the next jump!

Bringing Cicero out to the ring for a lesson.
