Last year we went out with great grandma to a German restaurant for her 93rd birthday and we got to sing happy birthday with a big jolly man in lederhosen. This year for # 94 we ate at The Brickhouse, which used to be Cheddars in Peoria. Instead of a jolly man in lederhosen, this year we had a waiter named Tripp who dropped my mom and dad's dinners on the floor. He was nice, but he was glad that we were his last customers of the day. It was fun. Good food. Dad just went ahead and ate his dinner off the floor....no, I'm just kidding.
We capped off the afternoon with ice cream at great grandma's house. If you ever go to great grandma's house, you will eat ice cream. It's great. We actually watched the ice cream truck drive by while we were eating ice cream, and we all smiled because even the ice cream truck doesn't have the ice cream varieties that great grandma has: Rocky Road, Strawberry, Moose Tracks, Chocolate Paradise, Pralines and Cream....yum!
