Then dad and I went to a Sunday afternoon baseball game! We've been to a couple this year. This one was kind of boring because there weren't many kids there, but it was fun to wake up dad after he bought me a $4 pretzel and fainted. We ate every last crumb. Then he was telling me about how my Grandma and Grandpa T. used to spend many Easter Sundays bundled up at afternoon ballgames too, most often in Waterloo, Iowa.....that sounds cold!
Lastly, after my 3-inning nap, we left the ballgame and stopped by the South Farms and visited some big friendly horses. Dad coaxed me into feeding this fella a handful of grass. As you may see, inscribed on his harness were the words, 'Duneside Perch'. Could that be his name? Well, a quick Google search answered the question!! I should have gotten his autograph! Hopefully the grass didn't make his stomach ache? Caitlin would know.

Duneside Perch is pretty. And fast! Momma says that fresh grass is just fine for horses! But grass clippings from the yard aren't good for horses. Just for reference. It looks like your new friend Dune is a pacing Standardbred (as opposed to a trotting Standardbred). Fun!
