OK. I can come up with a million reasons why the frequency of blog posts has declined to zero per month (unrelated to sunspot activity,
see post from Jan2014), and we could also search online and find a million blogs who've posted the same thing, but I'll spare you. There is something about blogging that is certainly cyclic, like everything else, and only those few good ones keep pushing through consistently.
Trick or Treating this year was like an expedition to Everest....without the sherpas. Cold, windy, dark, few people. But Abby had a blast in her full-suit cat costume. That girl's got gumption. In gale-force winds she hit every house in our little two-block neighborhood, each time a bit of hesitation...then some inspection...then she'd go for it. Tenzing Norgay would be proud.
